I've worked with preschoolers at an outdoor summer camp for 2 years, taught 5th grade for a year, and currently am teaching English to all-aged elementary students. Libby was our nanny and go to babysitter for four+ years. She started with our family when our youngest was 1 year old and stayed with us until our oldest was eight. Libby often supported our family before school, managing those details and drop offs as well as provided after school care on occasion. During weekly evening babysitting, Libby would manage both of our boy's bedtime routines and get them to bed on time feeling safe, happy, and comfortable. The boys always looked forward to Libby coming over to spend time with them! She is playful, responsible, patient caring, a great communicator and fun! As an educator and Mom of two very active boys, I especially appreciated how Libby interacted with my boys when they would have a “brotherly disagreement” She was always able to smooth things out in a way that seemed fair AND fun for both of the boys. Nothing rattles her! While we were happy for her when she graduated college and moved abroad, we were so sad for us! We miss her dearly and I’d highly recommend her for any of your nannying or babysitting needs.
