About who needs care: Obese; foot problems; gets confused sometimes--has trouble keeping track of what day it is; can't bend over to pick things up; falls frequently; uses a walker; does not like to do housework AT ALL; a bit of a hoarder; poor eating habits; likes to play solitaire on the computer; reads; watches a lot of TV; About the care needs: Should be able to listen--this person likes to talk a lot; Also she can get rather abrasive and bossy at times so a caregiver who has a "thick skin" would be good! Needs to be able to help her into the tub--she does not have a walk-in shower. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing. Preference for a caregiver who is female.

I have a outpatient procedure at the Hospital, need ride to and from. Total time required may be 5-6 Hrs. These usually start early, 7 a.m. or so. Do not have the appointment yet. Just looking to see if someone is interested in this type of task. Expect it to be within a week or two, will make the appointment when I determine someones availability. Hospital requests the person to be available at the hospital during the procedure. (no medical experience required) This is a typical outpatient procedure but they don't want the patient driving.
