I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Mobility Assistance, Bathing / Dressing, Errands / Shopping, Transportation. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. My mother had a stroke 3 weeks ago she has recovered her mobility but she still has some cognitive issues and could use help with strength thankfully her muscles in order to Walk properly. She lives with my 68-year-old aunt who is capable of doing all of the housekeeping and most of my mother's needs but could use some assistance with things like bathing and physical therapy.

About who needs care: Mark had a stroke last year. he is looking to regain independence. He and his Girlfriend (Maureen) have refused all government and social worker assistance. He needs help with taking proper meds each day, and schedules and daily exercise, daily PT and OT and Speech, and homework, and companionship. They tried to manage their own for 7 months. now it is time for A personal assistant. to help Maureen and to help Mark. she does all ADLs, need help with other daily tasks. examples? Help him practice speech. He has aphasia. help him to write and to read text again and in the meantime, help Mark understand texts from his sister and POA who manages all appointments. Help Mark to write them down. And train Mark to keep his OWN schedule. And put them on a whiteboard. For him. And then eventually, learn to do it himself. A system of his own. training on Dates and times and schedules, and tasks. To help Mark at least 3 times a week to start. (Less when HE learns how to put things on the white board for himself). the overall goal or target is Independence. About the care needs: female in case some limited dressing or bathroom is needed, he prefers woman. Someone who can text and keep good schedules and help with appointments and rides, someone who is patient and caring and can appreciate his humor and teasing. He needs help with Speech and physical exercise. someone who can practice his lessons and his exercises with him.. It would help if they liked hockey and could talk to him about the Boston Bruins! :-) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.

I am looking for a PATIENT, and trustworthy babysitter for my kiddos on occasion when I need to run errands! God is 1st in our lives. We love a balanced & routine lifestyle! My kids love to play outside, dancing, electronic time, reading & drawing My soon to be 1-year-old requires 24/7 eyes on him he's daring. My oldest requires assistance with getting around on occasion. (8 yr old with spina bifida) but he is very mobile. Patience & empathy! My kids are truly one of a kind & I don't like them feeling unsafe, unwanted, uncared for or undervalued. The best way to get to our home is by having a car, we live deep into Lehigh Acres, in case of an emergency it would be nice for the caregiver to have a car. Our family includes a loving German Shepard.
