Hi! My name is Sophia, I am a nursing student at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA! I am looking for a part time gig to help pay for school. I have a year of experience as a nursing assistant in the hospital. Please reach out for more information!!

I am currently attending an Associate's Degree in Nursing Program at Northern Essex Community College. I have just completed my first year in the program. I am taking this year off from Nursing School to get some additional clinical experience by acquiring a job as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital on the weekends. During my first year of Nursing school, I had six clinical rotations. My rotations consisted of the following: *Long-Term Care Rotation *Two Medical-Surgical Rotation *Telemetry Rotation *Pediatrics Rotation *Maternity Rotation During these rotations, I took care of many senior citizens with varying degrees of illness. I am CPR certified and have a letter from my school describing my experience with Nursing skills. I have a neighbor who is 81 years old who was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. During this time I took her to all of her chemotherapy appointments. I also took her to all her other doctor's appointment, did grocery shopping for her and assisted her husband who has early-stage dementia. I could give her as a reference if needed. I entered this line of work because I have a passion for helping seniors during their golden years. I am also a Christian and I believe this is what God wants each of us to do, to help those who may not be able to help themselves!

Hi! I have been a Registered Nurse for more than 25 years, and have worked in a variety of clinical settings. My most recent ( and current) experience is working in an Adult Day Program with those who suffer with Memory Impairment/ Dementia/ Alzheimer's Disease. I have always been interested in pursuing private duty caregiving seniors , and I know how important it is to find the right fit for your loved one. In addition to personal care and medication management, I am also happy to assist with appointments, and provide assist and guidance to families as needed. My companion experience consists of caring for family members; dementia, post orthopedic and heart conditions and transportation to various appointments.. I like to try and lift my patients spirits and engage them in conversation because most are suffering not only from their physical ailments but from loneliness and depression as well. Hello there! My name is Mariana and I am looking to get back into Senior Care full time. Right now I am working in retail, and truly miss working with my senior friends. My experience involves working at a Nursing Home for five years. My responsibilities included managing medications, bathing/dressing, delivering meals, going for walks and being their friend! I also worked as in companionship. Some activities included playing cards, talking about their days, going for rides in the car, light preparing of meals (soups and sandwiches), help eating food, light housekeeping, bathing and getting ready for bed.
