I have 20+ yrs of experience working in seniors 1989 I started my 1st job working in a nursing home. This same nursing home I worked for offered CNA program right there in the facility, I participated in that program to get certified. I have 5yrs experience working in a hospital, strokes, hip replacement, knee replacement, heart surgeries, I have experience working with with Stroke, Dementia, Alzheimer.. also end of life care. I have 3 sons, In 2007.. Life changed drastically for my family! My middle son at the time 9. he sustained a Traumatic brain injury. he spent 3 months in Boston at mass general hospital, then transferred spaulding rehab.. then 8 weeks later he was discharged home to aggressive speech, & physical therapy. at that point working in a facility was a bit difficult, I needed a flexible schedule.. that's when I looked into home care.. I worked for agencies & absolutely loved it! My last 5yrs I decided work independently. I enjoy what I do!
