About Kris

Over the past 18 months, Kris provided companionship and other light care aid for both my father (88, Alzheimer’s) and mother (85, Parkinson’s) who were both living with me during this time. We began working with Kris based on a set schedule of a few times a week, but we ended up contacting her more often due to her dependability and the relationship she built with my parents. Her background working with dementia patients was invaluable as my father was in an advanced stage of the disease. Where my father could get restless and agitated dealing with certain personalities, he never had any problems with Kris as she handled his care flawlessly based on her years of experience working with other dementia patients. Her personality and demeanor allowed her to create a great relationship with both my parents from the start. This also allowed my family the personal space we needed at any given time and, in many instances, on short notice. We will miss Kris and know that whomever she works with next will be lucky to have her!
