I am a husband and father of four, two of which still live in the home. I am a people person and have worked with the public throughout my entire career for which I am retired. Several years ago I return to school and received my Certified Nursing Assistant certification. I provided, In-Home, care for an elderly gentleman who had dementia. He was on 24-hour, Around the Clock, care with live in caregivers. I worked 3 to 5 days a week providing full-time care and helped with hospice care towards the end. The duties were as follows: bathing and dressing, preparing meals and feeding, incontinence care, giving medications, shopping, transportation and light housekeeping.
