Making a difference in the lives of others is what drives me. As a Licensed Practising Nurse with over 30 years of experience, I'm deeply committed to supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. My approach is rooted in compassion and empathy, and I strive to be patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I provide respite care, hospice services, and can assist with errands, shopping, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, and medical management. I am experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. Respecting a care recipient's independence is paramount. I communicate with families through written daily reports, regular updates via text or phone call, and always follow their preferred method. I have a college degree and am comfortable with pets. Supporting families and providing reliable care is important to me.
