About Jennifer

I have experience with dementia patients, mobility issues, some hospice care and I have worked with developmentally and intellectually delayed individuals. I love working with children and seniors because you are either teaching the future or learning about the past; to me, both should be protected and treated with respect. Caring for those who cannot care for themselves has always been at my core. I am a Guardian ad Litem volunteer for NC, (investigating child abuse and neglect issues and making recommendations to the Courts.) At a young age, I helped entertain and was a companion to seniors at a local nursing home. I have two adult children and I have been married for 25 years to the love of my life. (On my first try!) I understand that in this line of work not every day will be sunshine and rainbows, but I can dance in the rain.
