Twice Weekly Loving Nanny

I have been working with children of all ages for 12 years! In my teens, I was the neighborhood babysitter and certified by the Red Cross. While I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Child Psychology, I led a summer camp for two summers, volunteered weekly at children's hospitals, completed a 4 month practicum at one of these children's hospitals, and completed a full time internship at a children's hospital in Iowa. Post-college, I became an Early Childhood Educator and taught preschool and pre-kindergarten. I received the opportunity to join the childcare center's leadership team, and spent a year as the Director of Communications. I realized that my heart missed the joy of caring for a child, and I left that opportunity and became a nanny for a sweet baby girl three times a week. There is nothing I love more than being welcomed into a family and watching a child grow and develop. I am ideally looking for a family needing infant care on Tuesday's and Friday's beginning in September.

I worked as a Pre-K teacher with Brittney! She is such a sweet caring individual. She was organized and timely as we had a set schedule to follow. She always got down to the children's level to address situations. You couldn't pick a better person to care for your child/children as she will love them as if they were her own! Their needs will always come before her own, as she is taking extra precautions now with Covid-19. She always makes sure she isn't putting the little one in her care at risk even if that means sacrificing time with family or friends!

Responsible Babysitter Looking For Full-Time Summer Nanny Position!

Avg response < 5 hrs
I am an upcoming junior in college where I am studying economics and minoring in leadership. Through my studies, I have learned to be adaptive, reliable, and responsible. Additionally, I play D1 ultimate Frisbee at my university which has taught me resilience. Last summer I worked as a camp counselor with children 5-12 years old. I was an inclusion counselor where I specialized in designing safe games and making sure all children were having fun and felt included but most importantly staying safe. I also spent a lot of time working with kids with various disabilities which taught me the importance of patience and how to responsibly react and adapt to situations that can change rapidly. In addition to the responsibility of caring for children I also took the initiative to check in with the parents/guardian of them every day to make sure I was prepared to accommodate to their child's daily needs.

Brandon is wonderful. I was the site lead for him while he was a full-time camp counselor for our parks and recreation department. He did a significant amount of work with children with disabilities, and the kids absolutely loved him. He has such a magnetic personality and endless energy. He is a very reliable, active, and responsible person. I completely trust him and would definitely hire him in the future.
