My son C has a gastronomy (G) tube, which is used for feedings. He has a sensitive stomach which may make him vomit on occasion. While we are working towards him taking his bottles orally, he usually only takes at most 50% of his bottle by mouth; the rest goes through his tube. Therefore, we need a caregiver who is interested in learning how to care for his g-tube and manage tube feedings. Otherwise, he's a normal baby - he naps often, loves to play, go on walks, and needs help working on typical infant developmental milestones (sitting up, rolling over, crawling, eating solids, etc.). I do have two other sons (ages 3 and 5) who are in daycare (and starting kindergarten) who may be home if they're sick or on holiday. My husband is usually working from home or traveling for work; I work from home or go downtown for work - so there's a decent chance one of us will also be home during the day! We would love someone who fits in with our family!
