I've had 12 years of childcare and babysitting experience and have worked for several day-cares while pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Since my completion of that degree, I've worked as a special education teacher, infant teacher, and pre-kindergarten teacher in several local day-cares and elementary schools. I currently work at an early childhood development center, but am looking for a job as a nanny so I can form a deeper relationship with the entire family and fully invest in the lives of your kids. I enjoy children of all ages and have lots of fun being around them. I began babysitting when I was 13 and have been involved in childcare ever since! I've also had experience tutoring children and designing lesson plans as a special education teacher for a pre-kindergarten classroom. My experience with childcare ranges from infants through elementary school and I also have experience with large families of up to 8 kids. I have a reliable and safe car and would be happy to take your kids out on fun adventures to the pool, zoo, park, etc. I'm also familiar with school drop-offs and pick-ups and ready to help your kids get their homework done in the afternoon. I believe it's best for children to be active and I'm always creating fun experiences for them to learn and grow. Some of my favorite things to do with kids are reading books, creating fun games, and playing outside together. I'm not the kind of nanny who will leave your kids on their own to come up with things to do. I love coming up with new crafts and games for them to enjoy! If you're a working couple and rushed for time in the evenings, leave me in charge of dinner and I'll have it ready when you get home! I'm a great cook and have lots of experience with various kinds of meal preparations. In addition to getting paid to take care of kids, I've also sought out volunteer opportunities as well. I've volunteered at my church. Taking care of kids is not just a job to me, it's my passion and calling. I have a friendly and easygoing personality and I love to make kids smile. I'm dependent and responsible and also trained in CPR and First Aid. You can trust that your kids will not only be safe with me, but they'll also have lots of fun!
