Batavia Math Tutors

Hello! I am going into year 4 of teaching elementary education. I am currently offering VIRTUAL tutoring services for the summer. I have three years experience in teaching Reading to 5th grade students. I have also taught one year of Science. I recently provided year long home instruction to a 6th grade student in Reading, Writing, and Math. I have provided instruction to students who have different abilities and are on multiple different learning levels. Additionally, I have provided tutoring to a Kindergarten student. I am a certified teacher through the state of Ohio and earned my degree in Elementary Education (K-5) at Northern Kentucky University.

I am a biology major at the University of Cincinnati. Some of my previous tutoring experience includes working at an elementary once a week and helping third graders with their classwork. My core subjects include math and sciences, but I do enjoy the other subjects as well.

I am currently an Intervention Specialist at the Children's Home of Cincinnati. I have worked in education for over 12 years working with students with learning disabilities, behavior disorders, ADHD, and students with multiple disabilities. I am willing to tutor any subject but Math and Social Studies are my strengths and I am Highly Qualified in both.

I have yet to tutor, but I am a licensed science teacher for grades 7-12. I focused on chemistry in college, but I am knowledgable in most science and math subjects

Hi I am a psychology major at Stockton University, I am very good at math and English and have the most experience tutoring in those subjects. I am also confident in my abilities to tutor for science and history though.

I am a second year nursing student at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences which is affiliated with The Christ Hospital. I am CPR certified and a state tested nursing aide. I have years of experience watching kids from newborn to 15 years old. I am very devoted to what I do and I love children. I love arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and reading. I have my own car so I can provided transportation for the kids to where they need to be. I am usually available at short notice and during anytime of the day. My schedule changes but I know way in advance. I am comfortable with over night stays and weekends. I was a nanny for a family of 3 children for over a year, one being disabled, so I can take care of multiple children at once. I have also been a tutor for school aged children for 5 years in math, science, English, and history.

Hello! My name is Jessie and I am 20 years old! I recently got married last July. I have worked in church nurseries and babysat for the last 5 years with newborns all the way up to age 10. My husband and I have also taught kindergarten basketball and helped with teaching Sunday school. I have worked with all ages and would love a chance to meet you! Since August of 2012 I have worked as a manager at Penn Station, but I am now looking for something else with a little more meaning behind it. In early 2014 I started a job at a doggy day care where myself and 2 others would watch up to 80 dogs at one time- crazy fun!! Last year (2015) I attended Alia Healthcare and became a certified STNA. I would love to help with; Arts and crafts, music, reading/writing, math/science, teaching everyday chores such as cleaning/laundry/cooking, I have my own vehicle and am able to help run attends here and there. I am a full believer that if a child is playing then a child is learning!

I am going to be a junior and am an early childhood education major at the University of Dayton. I recently observed and helped read, learn vocab, and do math in a second grade classroom. I am also in big brothers big sisters and have a little sister in second grade who has some special needs. We do homework and play games together! During school, I helped in a classroom of2-year-olds and a pre-k classroom for three hours once a week for the whole year. I really enjoyed getting to learn with these age groups about their social and emotional development. Two summers ago, I was a nanny for a 4-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. We would go to the park, eat lunch, play outside, do crafts, and play learning games. Last year, I was a full-time nanny for a 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl. We often went places such as the library, the zoo, the pool, and parks. I absolutely love being a nanny and have had amazing experiences with every child I meet!
