We are looking for an experienced caregiver who has worked with LGBTQ families to care for our 7-month-old in our home in Cary. This person must have recent experience with infants and enjoy reading, playing, and going for walks. Your main responsibility will be providing fun and engaging ways to help her learn and grow, we are looking for someone who's priority is making her feel safe and helping her enjoy each day. Additional responsibilities would include simple food prep, washing bottles and baby's laundry. You must be available to provide care in our home, must not need to bring your own children, have current CPR certification, a clean background and driving record. We are looking for someone who can commit for at least a year and fits with our family. We both occasionally work from home and come in and out of the house throughout the day. This is a 17. 5 hour a week position during the following times Monday 8am-4pm, Tuesday 12:30-4 p.m. and Thursday 9am-3 p.m.

The family will be new to North Carolina and will be hoping for a loving nanny to join their family long-term. The nanny will care for one 1. 5-year-old Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Ideally, the nanny will have some flexibility, some days leaving earlier than 6:00 p.m. and some days staying until 6:30 as needed. The nanny should be fun and engaging, with enough energy to keep up with a curious and busy toddler. The nanny will be encouraged to go on outings to do age appropriate activities. A nanny who knows the area well and can even make suggestions about great, child-friendly activities around town would be great. Other responsibilities will include light housekeeping including baby laundry, and meal prep/clean up.
