About the job
I am looking for a male adult care provider with experience for my 32 YO son with ALS two days a week. Quiet. Nonsmoker. Licensed/certified. Familiar with Hoyer lift. Client is fully cognizant but bedridden and requires full assistance with all ADL's as well as simple meal preparation and medication. Lifting assistance required for transfers. Client is a severe fall risk. Entertains himslef and asks for assistance when needed. Sleeps many hours a day. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction.
