Household Assistant / Family Helper In DC (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule)

We're a friendly family in Bloomingdale DC looking for a dependable, kind household assistant to help keep things running smoothly while my husband recovers from surgery and I care for our baby. We already have a housekeeper for deep cleaning, so this role focuses on light upkeep -- tidying the kitchen and living areas, dishes, some laundry, taking out trash and recycling, breaking down boxes, cleaning the cat litter box as needed, and occasional errands or small organizing projects. We'd love someone who's detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with a baby and cats. Ideally 2-3 days a week for about 3-4 hours per visit. Schedule is flexible. If you've worked as a household assistant, family helper, or in a similar role before, that's great, but not required.
