I offer a very lightly structured program with plenty of free play both inside and outside. Full and part-time care provided included meals. I include an educational element, although it is very loosely structured. I have worked with children for many years and love to see them learn through play and interaction with each other. My prices are also very competitive. We spend time playing with puzzles, books, blocks, dolls, and other age-appropriate toys. We dance, listen to music, sing, practice colors, numbers, shapes and begin to get familiar with the alphabet. Outside we have a small slide, sandboxes, a play kitchen and house area. We also have balls, play animals, and some other fun activities included water play and bubbles. I offer homework help as well. My regular hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, but I offer extended hours on a case by case basis.

I have been involved in coordinating activities for children between the ages of 2 and 6. I am certified in CPR and first aid and I also have experience watching over disabled children. In 2010, I decided to open up a daycare at my home. This has given me the pleasure of working with some very nice parents and children. I love children and feel that their upbringing is the most important factor for them becoming great adults. Even though I have experience with many preschool activities, I do not run my daycare as a preschool. My day care is more of a family style setting where I focus on teaching the children life skills like respecting others, sharing, polite manners, responsibility, following instructions, problem management, and anger control. After working in the corporate world for several years when I became a grandmother I decided to retire so I could stay home to care for my four grandchildren till they were old enough to go to preschool. Well that time came too soon, we have one in first grade and three and preschool. My experience raising my grandchildren has been such a great experience and so rewarding that I have decided that I would like to continue providing care to for a couple of infants/toddlers. I want to provided them a place where they would be loved and well taken care of it as my grandchildren were.
