I am a family Day Care provider that has been in business for over 22 years. I am licensed to care for newborns through 12 years of age; up to a maximum of eight children, two being under the age of two. My hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Once the children reach the age of 2 1/2, I start working a preschool program called &quot;The Creative Curriculum&quot;, minimum 3 times a week, 2 1/2 hours a day. I reside in a single family home dwelling which has an outside play area for the children to swing/play at. I also make it a priority to get the children outside on nice days. I do use my whole house for my business, not limiting the children to only a small area inside the house. The napping area for the children is located on the upper level and never consist of more than two children per room at any given time. Every child age two or above has their own fold out cot, blanket and pillow and any child under two has their own pack and play that they nap/sleep in. Regarding meals, I provide breakfast along with two daily snacks, leaving the lunch for the parents to provide. All cold items in their lunches will be placed in the refrigerator and anything needing to be warmed or cooked will be done using a microwave or toaster oven. Different types of fruit juices, milk and water is available for them to drink throughout the day. Each child has their own individual cup assigned to them, making it easier for them not to drink out of each others cups. Activities during the day will include books, games, puzzles, play doh, art supplies, along with age appropriate toys for both inside and outside, for them to have fun with. I also try to make sure that we spend sufficient time outdoors for the children to enjoy, weather pending. The current rates range from $260.00-$275.00, depending on age, hours and number of family members attending. References available upon request. You will never find a more loving, organized and flexible environment for your child to grow in, allowing them to enrich their potential learning. I provide a home away from home, giving them a sense of security and stability, which is my number one priority.
