Working in the food service industry for as long as I have, it has been ingrained into who I am that things must be neat, clean, and orderly. Not only is it a health risk when things are dirty, not just in the kitchen, but it is off putting and stressful to see smudges and hand prints places they don't belong. While I've only cleaned my own home and the home for a family whom I've been providing childcare for in terms of house keeping type cleaning, I would run a very tight ship in the restaurants that I was part of the management team and would frequently be the one getting on ladders cleaning light fixtures, high shelving units, or scrubbing the drains in the floors.
