Geometry Tutors in Windermere

Hi there! I was recently called back into work so I am not currently taking on new students. Thank you for your understanding! --- I'm a patient, organized, and optimistic mechanical engineer. I've been tutoring ages 9+ intermittently since 2009 in a range of subjects such as geometry, algebra, calculus, English, and Japanese. I got my start as a volunteer peer tutor through my high school in 9th grade and continued tutoring throughout college. My rate includes the time spent creating lesson plans before each session and any supplies as needed. I think tutoring can be fun and exciting, with the right help. My favorite part of tutoring is getting to be creative with adapting my lesson plans to fit their interests, so they can learn in a way that they can understand. I would prefer virtual or outdoor (masked) sessions to keep your child, family, and myself healthy.

My name is Kimberly and I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I am also a professional personal tutor with 250+ hours of experience with students ranging from early elementary to college. I have experience tutoring in English, Geometry, Algebra, Spanish, Essay Writing, SAT Prep, and Chemistry. I have a passion for watching my students truly understand a concept with which they were previously struggling. I believe that all students learn differently and have an equal potential to learn; some students just need a different approach to learning. Therefore, it is my goal to prepare a unique and personalized plan for each of my students so that they are able to best reach their highest potential.
