Our wonderful childcare provider is graduating and we're in need of some additional support 2-3 days a week for the next year or so, until she goes to preschool full time. Our daughter is a little over 3 years old. I work from home full time and my partner works from home M/F. We are looking for someone to watch our daughter in the home while we work. We are a laid back, easy going family. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs. Our daughter is into watching tv, playing with toys and loves to be outside in the backyard - she also has a small speech delay (pandemic baby). Occasional opportunities for more hours available depending on our schedule. We are teaching our daughter to be anti-racist, to respect pronouns, and that love is love. Our 6-month-old daughter will be between daycare centers for part of the summer and we need someone to help care for her during that time. It would be 25-30 hours per week, with some flexibility on exact schedule (e. g. hours could be 9:30-3, 10-3:30, etc.). We could also make a Monday-Thursday schedule work, too, if desired. Responsibilities would include typical baby tasks like feeding, diaper changes, playtime/engagement, and putting down for naps. Looking for a reliable nanny/sitter . to do M-F daycare drop off and some/most pickups. The position comes with regular opportunities for in-home nannying. My daughter will be about 16 months old at the time care is needed (starting on or around 16 Aug), she has no special needs or medical conditions. We are very easy going and have a low-threat structure/schedule. We like to "minimize" screen time and try our best to eat healthy but otherwise have very little rules and a less rigid parenting philosophy. My daughter is great with independent play and loves to sing and dance. We are transitioning from full time in-home nannying to daycare. We're still in the process of finding a home but looking for something with on site parking and walking distance to campus.
