About who needs care: V is a stroke patient. She is paralyzed on one side. She has limited gait. She can
stand for transferring (short periods) and she is able to sit down. Once addressed, she
can do whatever you want her to do. She is unable to do everything independently, she
is total care. She requires to be fed, medication administration, incontinent, and bed
bound. She also experiences time period where she screams and cries out. She will
need vitals checked before med admin and frequent diaper changes.
Job duties include.
Perform domestic and household tasks.
Administer simple prescribed medications.
Assist with clients personal care activities (brushing, bathing, peri care).
Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their
condition.
Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
Prepare meals and feed the client.
Do Laundry
Bathing twice a day.
Help exercise to promote mobility to extremities.
About the care needs: She does not speak any english or Spanish. Someone who is very friendly and animated would work best. No specific hobbies or interests needed.
Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
