I am looking for help with respite. My Grandma in the beginning stages of dementia experiencing intermittent difficulties in areas like logic, reasoning, problem solving, self care, personal safety. I need someone reliable to come to our house for a few hours a week to get to know Grandma, dogs, and time to get familiar with our home dynamic so that eventually I can take off for day trips with my family when we go to places Grandma is unable to travel to. My niece is graduating in May out of state. I would really like to be there. If I can find someone that is able to hit it off with Grandma Phyllis, I can leave town for a few days knowing someone would be coming by throughout the day to help my husband with Grandma. Ive been doing this alone for a long time. I need a break.

We have two boys who are 9 and soon to be 6yrs old. They are your regular boys who are full of energy and fuss with each other from time to time. They love playing basketball outside and swimming in the summertime.
