I have been a student of music for 40 years. My musical influences include Pop, RnB artists and I also enjoy country. My teaching style can best be described as fun and energetic. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to find your own voice! My favorite thing about teaching is m students are always introducing me to new songs that I have never heard, thus challenging my own musical path! I encourage the students to select the songs in order for them to stay interested and motivated. I also enjoy getting to see the students grow in there musical journey and the confidence they feel from my coaching. We have FUN in the lessons, there is no pressure from me whatsoever. I will be recording the students as a teaching tool so they have instant feedback and compare their own progress for themselves. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach beginning piano and trumpet. My approach as a teacher is for students to enjoy the process of learning music. I am currently booked as an entertainer in Cape Coral Florida and perform on Fort Myers beach so I am very connected to the music scene. I embrace all ages, from 5 to 85 years old! I am a former instructor at School Of Rock in Ft.Myers and currently teach at Cape Coral School of Music as well. Ultimately I feel the best learning environment is my personal studio, where we can sing on professional microphones, listen through high quality speakers and record on high quality ProLogic tools. Formal Education: Associate Degree in Music Studies from CCSN, Las Vegas Nevada Private Education: I teach based on Cheryl Porters vocal coaching. Performing Experience: I have performed in music since the 4th grade playing trumpet and french horn until my senior year where I was the High School Drum Major. I then moved to Las Vegas where I became an entertainer vocalist in several bands and then moved from that into becoming a professional DJ where you could see my face on all the billboards of the casino/hotels. I opened for the biggest acts in Vegas and the biggest events in front of 70,000 people before Covid. After Covid I moved to Florida, where I could pursue my dream of writing and performing in my own produced show which is what I am currently in the process of creating. I have been proffesionally entertaining for 30 years and I will never stop, it is in my blood and I love to share my experiences with my students. Experience Teaching: 2 Years at School of Rock Ft.
