Body: I was introduced to Diane by a group of professional musicians with whom I was working. My goal, at the time, was to confidently work side by side with some experienced Jazz musicians who had become part of my circle of friends. I was originally classically trained, but wanted to enjoy making Jazz music with others. I heard Diane perform at some jam sessions and later at her own one woman show. She attended a gig where I was singing and sang a tune at my invitation. I carefully observed her approach and she is now my #039;go to#039; choice for counseling, lessons and advice. She employs, promotes and teaches correct and safe vocal technique. Diane works in many different genres and can coach to all of them. She is a mentor to her students while striving to understand each person#039;s goals and expectations. Diane knows the human voice and is able to isolate trouble spots and causes. The specific techniques and exercises she suggests to form better habits have helped me to begin to resolve the issues I caused by attempting to retrain myself to sing a completely different genre of music than I was originally trained for.
