I have been a student at the Manhattan School of Music for going on 6 years BMA and MMA. My musical influences include John Coltrane, Mark Turner, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and many others. My teaching style can best be described as patient and safe and understanding. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want my students to learn in the way that is best for them in a low stress low risk environment. In my lessons, you can expect to learn harmony, improvisation, reading, theory, ear training, as well as how to perform. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students grow musically and as a person. I primarily teach saxophones and woodwinds, but I can also teach beginning piano/keyboard. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon! -Education- Degree: Jazz Saxophone Performance School: Manhattan School of Music Dates: 2022-08
