I reside in the Conroe/North Houston area. I have been a student of music for over 15 years, my first instrument was the piano and I started playing the flute in middle school. Some musical influences include Michel Debost, Emmanuel Pahud, Vikingur Olafsson, and Lang Lang. My teaching style is relaxed and positive, yet very constructive in feedback. My approach as a teacher is to teach with confidence yet be relatable to my students. I love to ask questions, both about my students and the music they are playing to see if they know! I started my journey with music when I was 5 when my parents took me to see Cats in Houston. I was completely smitten by all the costume, the music, the acting, and everything else the theatre has to offer. Ever since then music has always been in my extra curricular activities until I got to college. Now it is my life and I couldn't be happier.
