This NEW and exclusive class is divided equally between cheerleading and basketball, giving kids the opportunity to dive into both sports in one fun-filled session! The first half focuses on an intro to cheerleading, where young athletes will learn the basics of cheers and stunts, while the second half offers an exciting introduction to basketball skills at the Hi-Five Zone. A Committed Competition Sport: All-Star cheerleading is a team-based, competitive sport that relies on every single member. Attendance is our number one priority. Because every athlete has a specific role in the routine, the team cannot progress without everyone present. We are looking for families who are ready to commit to the season and athletes who are dedicated to their team's success! How Placements Work: We will be forming multiple teams this season. While everyone will be placed on a team, athletes demonstrating higher-level tumbling skills will be placed on our higher-level teams. We prioritize technique over difficulty; we would much rather see a "clean" Level 1 skill with pointed toes than a "shaky" Level 2 skill. Skill Levels at a Glance: Level 1 (High-Flyers Dream): Master the basics!
