Desolation Canyon is perhaps our most popular family river vacation. A less-known national treasure, Desolation is one of the most scenic, historic and colorful waterway areas on the western rivers. Its brightly colored formations are monuments to the force of Mother Nature. Wildlife thrives: you may see mule deer, desert bighorn sheep, prairie dogs, or waterfowl and desert birds, along with yucca, sage, numerous cacti and wildflowers. Huge cottonwood trees over untouched beaches offer exquisite campsites. Feel the power of the river pull as your oar or paddle raft drifts along the calmer sections of the Green. Desolation Canyon has an abundant supply of rapids; over 60 overall on this 84-mile trip. The trip includes a scenic charter flight from Moab to the trip's put-in site at Sand Wash.

Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a western, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do! This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments, before cutting through a towering red rock canyon that meanders back toward Moab. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and so on. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect river games and stories, splash fights, and lots of fun interpretations from your guides on this mild trip!

Our guided trips are in 6-person paddle rafts making for big fun. The section of Colorado River is a beautiful section of class II whitewater. Guests will hike their way on the rock fins towards drainages and canyons that lead to two rappels. The first rappel sends visitors into the slot canyon, Medieval Chamber. Rappelling through this canyon displays the beautiful layers of sandstone that have been dispersed over millions of years. The canyon then opens up to make way for the second rappel. This unique free hanging rappel is a breathtaking 120 feet next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge. The bridge measures 243 feet in width, making it one of the longest natural land bridges in the United States. Once at the bottom visitors are able to enjoy the scenic hike Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River.

Just because this is short - doesn't mean it's boring! This is 2 hours of a thrilling ride up and over the iconic Red Rocks. This tour does not include the obstacles that the 3 Hour offers - so it might be just perfect for someone who wants an exciting ride - but not *too* thrilling. Hells Revenge trail is a slick rock trail in the Sand Flats Recreation Area. It is a 4 minute ride from our store to the trail head. We will meet and load up at our location and head out right from there. The trail is a word famous trail and is absolutely scenic and beautiful. You'll see the La Sal Mountain Range, stand 1,000ft. Above the Colorado River, and look into Arches National Park from a distance. Our vehicles are built specifically for your safety and comfort in mind. There are plenty of beautiful photo opportunities on this trip as well as some history about the area! Water and snacks are provided. Tours Depart Morning, Mid-Day and Sunset.
