I have been studying music in general since I was roughly 10 years old and playing guitar, specifically, since I was 13 years old. I have studied both music and guitar through self-teaching via the Internet (articles and videos- theory, technique, etc.), in addition, through private lessons with Michael Mieske, as well as through courses in both high and college (Columbia College of Chicago). Formal Education: I have taken courses in high school and college (Columbia College of Chicago) learning Music Theory to Instrumental Performance in Guitar, among other things. Additionally, I have taken guitar lessons from Michael Mieske. Performing Experience: I was in a church band from 14-15 years old and I have occasionally performed for friends and family for various purposes, be it general entertainment or a special event. Experience Teaching: I have taught a few friends and family members about music in general, in addition to guitar specific teachings. Although, I have not yet taught as a profession (through any company/organization).
