I grew up in Albany GA where I was educated at home. Not attending traditional public school and being homeschooled, gave me the opportunity to focus on my music more. I was given private piano lessons from age 5 to age 18. Vocal lessons from age 15 to 18. Although I was able to play the piano by ear without music, my wonderful music teachers opened up a whole new world for me. Reading music and understanding theory helped me become an accomplished pianist. I am forever grateful to them for the knowledge and inspiration they poured into me all those years. They planted a desire in me to teach others the beautiful gift of music.
