My name is Walker. I am a musician (drumset and hand percussion). I have been officially playing drums for 15 years; professionally for 8. I live and work in Atlanta, GA. My body is 26 years old, but my soul and spirit are much older. I have played in various bands and performed in Birmingham, Chicago, NY, Boston, Asheville, and of course all over Atlanta. I have done many shows, festivals, street work, and taught drums; (group lessons and private), as well as backed up singers. My interests and skills predominantly are in Rock, Jazz, Metal, Punk, Funk, Latin, African, and Afro-Cuban styles of music. I am well versedin Drumset, Djembe, Congas, Timbales, Tablas, Cajon, Brazillian Drumming, DJ/Producing, and have recently began playing the HAPI Drum. At 17 I was awarded a $44,000 scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, in Boston. I enjoyed my time there but did not stay the whole 4 years because I preferred performing and being active in the musical world over music in a classroom setting. I am extremely passionate, driven, and serious about my music. I love teaching and have already been teaching drums here in Atlanta for a while. I am great with children, as well as teens, and adults. I am a people person. I cannot wait to start giving people the knowledge, love, and power, of music!! :) Formal Education: I graduated May 2009 from Lakeside High School. Private Education: I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, 2010-2011. Performing Experience: Ihave 7 years Performing Experience, 4 years Professionally.
