Little Stars: Broadway Dance combines the magic of Broadway with a creative movement class that focuses heavily on creativity and helping young dancers discover new ways to move their bodies. Each class features music and activities that are inspired by a different Broadway Musical and designed to support fine and gross motor skills, imagination, rhythm, and body awareness while also introducing elements of formal dance classes such as a warm-up routine, “across the floor," and learning choreography in a fun, developmentally appropriate way. At the end of each session, Little Stars will get to show off their new Broadway moves in an Open House on the last day of class. Here at Stages, we believe that dance is for everyone! Our team is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all children can feel comfortable.

Dishes! For soap, cookies, keys and more! This class will use slabs to create a variety of dish forms, and then they can get decorated and carved with underglaze. Family day workshops are designed for parents and children to work on projects together led by an instructor. One reservation ($50) for up to four participants, an $20/person for more than four (paid day of). No experience necessary. There is no age limit, but participants under 4 years old will require much more guidance from guardian. All kids must be accompanied by a guardian. Clay and underglaze are included. Projects will be clear glazed and ready for pick up two weeks after the class.

ABOUT: This class covers the basics of making cups and bowls on the pottery wheel, pulling handles, trimming, and glazing pieces.
