Played in several garage bands in the 1990's and was the lead guitar player in a local progressive country band for 2 years 2. Took guitar lessons while in college in 1983 which eventually developed into a keen knowledge of Music Theory as it applies to guitar and a particularly advanced ability to improvise lead solos. Primary music styles have been Classic Rock, Progressive Country, Blues, and for acoustic guitar stuff like Neil Young, America, and Pink Floyd. Have also put together originals. Formal Education: 2 years in Electrical Engineering Private Education: About 4 months in scales and lead guitar tutoring while attending college at Texas AM Univ, College Station, TX Performing Experience: About 10 paying gigs in the Central Texas area. Lots lots of freebies, including Donner Music Fest outdoor music festival and once on 6th street in Austin.
