My name is pronounced La-Nay. I have taught piano for 20+ years and received the National Piano Guild for Studios award as an Honor Teacher several times while I carried 63 students. To get that award 90% of your students have to receive the highest mark in 3 areas-Performance, their technical skills, and a theory test. To get there I carefully plan the year so they have had enough opportunities to do things outside the Guild testing that when it comes it is easy and natural. I thrive on recitals designed for the students to have fun. Costume recitals, Christmas Recitals, Recitals at Restaurants for tips, and recitals at the park.
