The rush of rhythmic intensity drew him at first to love metal drumming. With years, the heated intricacy hungrily evolved to incorporate endless influences and his rhythmic inspirations melded in new combinations. After 5 years of part-time touring of the East Coast of the U.S., and with 7 recorded and 5 published studio albums including acts featured by Vans Warped Tour and signed by Fearless Records Wage War, formerly “War Within” and Smart Punk Records Blessing a Curse, Christopher settled down and started a family in New Smyrna Beach in 2017 with Miranda and 8-year-old Julian. Having 2 former private students and 2 years of drum teaching experience and with over 6 years experience throughout his life teaching and coaching ages 6-18 through his hometown church and non-profits like YoungLife, Christopher delights in helping others strike those “a-HA!” moments, especially behind a drum set! With Christopher, parents can expect a family-oriented, articulate, college-educated professional who teaches patiently and positively from industry-tested experience...Students, however, can expect an instructor who is jovial, gentle, and encouraging as they develop their creativity and memory through lessons that build upon one another. His approach fosters confidence in music theory through adaptable, digestible examples—often times through games without the student realizing it! Christopher wants to meet any student of beginner to intermediate skill right where they're at and to guide each student toward playing their heart out on the songs they really love.
