In 1969 I got a full scholarship to Berklee college of modern music in Boston Mass. undefined Private Education: I had private lessons with Latin percussion artists, Manny Oquendo,Nicky Marrero,Ramon Rodriguez, and Johnny Almendra. Performing Experience: Starting at the age of 15 Idanced, played drums and played in Jazz triosin Turkey and Europe. From 1969 I was strictly in Jazz trios and quintets in NYC with musicians like Charles Brakeen, William Parker, David Ware, Clyde Cotten, James Lott. Then starting in 1975 to 2002 I played percussion in a Latin band inNYC with various salsa bands.
