I have played in several bands, one that had measurable success that lasted for over a decade. I have taught many people how to play guitar from beginning to intermediate levels as a private, for free instructor. I have two sons and have taught my thirteen year old son how to play guitar, and he has already performed with me on stage playing at an advanced level. I have a good deal of understanding of music theory.
