He completed a Bachelors Degree in engineering/music at RPI in 2006. He is a people person and has a passion for playing and writing music and for passing his knowledge and expertise onto others and watching them learn and grow musically. Over the years, he has worked as a music instructor for the Potential Unlimited Music Institute and also as worked as an instructor and chaperone for Camp Electric in Nashville. He has played in several bands including "The Ashdown Brothers" and "The Rhondies" and has played at many renowned venues in the Northeast including Cafe Lena. He is a people person and enjoys giving lessons to people of all ages. Formal Education: B.S. Engineering/Music from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. I am formally trained in music theory and also recording engineering. I also played violin in the orchestra and currently play in a string ensemble. Private Education: Started taking private lessons in guitar, piano, and violin at the age of 5 from my mother who is a certified music teacher and classically trained violinist from Skidmore College. I also received many years of private lessons with other excellent musicians over the years. I am always challenging myself and learning new things. Performing Experience: I have performed with my band at various venues and festivals in the area including Cafe Lena, RPI, Browns, Franklin's Tower. I have also played live music at music festivals and numerous weddings ceremonies and receptions. Experience Teaching: I worked as an instructor at Potential Unlimited Music Institute for several years and have also have had many students of my own. I also worked as a Master Teacher for Math Done Right which is a company to help teach students math in fun and creative ways.
