I've been playing piano for 12+years, and teaching for about half of that time in and around the Philly area. Performing is my main passion but I love teaching and sharing the gift of music with others. My lessons revolve around the individual students goals and aspirations, and I believe should never lose an emphasis on FUN and self-expression as the highest goal of learning an instrument. That said, I use everything from improvisation, ear training, rhythm exercises, technique building and holistic music theory concepts to make my students well-rounded musicians, not just scale-playing machines! Experience Teaching: Have taught ages 3-65. Everything from jazz, classical, gospel, rock, and pop tunes.
