I now assists family (not employed as nurse). I love music. I have been a teacher before. I started learning clarinet in 4th grade. I have continued on through concert band and marching band since 7th grade through high school (woodwind). My senior year I learned Bari sax...in college I dabbled in trumpet. In recent years I taught myself alto sax, guitar, bass guitar, flute, recorder. I played alto and bari sax in the Riverside Concert band for 2 years and now play trombone in the Oakhurst community band for 6 months. I trained nurses assistants (adult ed) for two years, and again am self-taught in most instruments here listed. Formal Education: AS degree in nursing 1996. 6 years of concert band and 4 years marching band 3 years community concert and jazz band Performing Experience: halftime shows for NFL games in the 80s Marching band field show competitions (3 years) community concerts for two different bands church performing Experience Teaching: 2 years teaching nurse's assistants for Mission Career College in Riverside, CA...approx. 20 classes 6 weeks in length, 10-20 adult students average. 2009- teaching guitar and music appreciation to mentally disabled youth/adults once weekly for 7 months at Laurel Place school for effective learning
