He continued pursuing his passion for music within the church through music ministry and Sunday school. By age 9 he was leading worship at his local church where he independently learned to play piano. He continued his lessons in middle school, high school and online. In high school he learned to play Caribbean instruments and percussion instruments such as the steel drums, drums, and percussion. His Junior year of high school he took a step of faith and began pursuing music at the college level in Saint Louis where he studied voice under Dr. Heyl and piano under Dr. Sharla Bender. While in college he accompanied voice students performed with the Saint Louis Symphony In Unison chorus and toured the country with the Urshan College Chorale. He graduated in 2017 and immediately began teaching private lessons. In 2020 amidst COVID he opened his own first private lesson studio and eventually partnered with another private lesson studio as manager. After parting ways with that studio he accepted an offer to teach full time at First Baptist Christian Academy where he currently serves as a full time music teacher. Formal Education: B. of Music B.
