Moving to Atlanta, GA. at 17, I studied music and guitar working in several local recording studios, playing sessions on various recording projects and touring with several Jazz and Rock ensembles. In Janurary of 2000 I returned to New Orleans where I continued playing music in local and regional venue; and began teaching music as teacher of record for Orleans Parish Public Schools and taking private students occationally. After 2006, I moved to Houston, TX and returned to school for my graduate degree and continued to take private students. Now, I play in a Rock cover/originals band and Also teach students on the side. I am very experienced in song writing and have a firm grasp of music theory. My playing specialty is Rock and Blues guitar, but I can also teach Jazz and Orchestration.
