Primarily a bass player, he has played for multiple groups in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and Georgia from orchestral pit performances to late night jazz bands. Later becoming a private instructor for brass instruments, bass and guitar. Gabriel's goal as a teacher was to share his love for music and make playing an instrument available to anyone who inspired to play. He has taught from all levels from beginner to advanced students with both emphasis on music theory and playing by ear. He has taught privately and at local music stores such as Guitar Center and Music And Arts. His teaching includes the use of basic psychology and the ideas and teachings of Victor L. Wooten.
