For around 8 years I've been immersed in the world of music, starting with bass guitar and onwards from there. Currently an aspiring sound engineer/producer. I've had experience with playing rock, classic rock, metal, experimental/avant-garde, etc. Performing Experience: My first performing experience was with the Portland School of Rock over in Oregon, as I've done many different cover shows ranging from Fleetwood Mac to David Bowie to Talking Heads. Outside of the School of Rock, I've had experience playing with several different bands of several different genres in Portland. Experience Teaching: I attended Portland School of Rock from 2012 to 2016. Every summer, the organization would organize summer camps for youth musicians (ages 11+), and students from the school would help facilitate and teach children their parts when it comes to guitar, bass, singing, drums, etc. The actual goal of the camp was to grab a group of children for a week to learn a set of songs (whether they're for a certain band or a genre) and perform at a local venue at the end of the week. My role was teaching all the bassists/guitarists/vocalists the parts they struggled with.
