My name is Alonzo. I’ve been a musician since I got my first guitar at 11. My favorite band is The Mars Volta. I’m an excellent bassist and guitar player. I have a few synthesizers I play, but I wouldn’t say my piano skills are worthy of teaching. I have my own band I’m getting up and running and I’m going to school for music production. I’ve been finding frustration working off jobs while going to school but it never hit me to work in music until this week. I’ve taught guitar before when I was stationed overseas in Japan. The MWR offered free guitar lessons to service members and their families and I volunteered to host it. I had classes of anywhere from 3-7 people twice a week in person.
