I was also a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drumline from 2006-2007. I tailor each individual drum lesson to fit the needs of my students and work very hard to make sure that the lessons are both educational and fun. I believe that it is very important to have a teacher that is passionate about the music and about education. I work on all aspects of the drums and focus on achieving goals that I set with the students. I teach how to read drum music and rhythms and work on the rudimental aspect of the drums. I also have students play along to the music that they enjoy and teach them the skills to be able to improvise and create drum grooves and rhythms of their own. I have the tools needed to teach the students what they want to learn and teach proper techniques and motions to ensure that no one gets hurt!
