I have been a student of music for over 20 years. My musical influences include Gospel, Classical, RB and Pop and I also enjoy songwriting and digital art. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed, specific and student focused. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I love each session because I learn from each of my students as I teach them. In my lessons, you can expect to learn breathing posture, projection, stylistic application, and genre specific techniques. I like to tell my students, the more you put into your lessons and individual practice, the bigger the advances you will see. My favorite thing about teaching is when a student begins to truly see the improvements and accomplishments in finding their own voice. My students love that I can connect with them, whatever their level of experience. I primarily teach Pop/RB but I can also teach Gospel and beginning classical.
