I have extensive knowledge of music theory and songwriting, and can teach a large variety of songs, styles, techniques, and approaches to the instrument. I have experience playing in bands, including years of experience in the exotic style of gypsy jazz. My heart is in guitar playing of all kinds, as well as the craft of songwriting. Teaching is also in my blood and comes very naturally to me, this will be an easy, intuitive fit - I would love to tailor exactly to my students learning needs, and bridge their knowledge gap, by knowing who they are, where they are at, and communicating with them effectively to guide them and drive them to the heart of where they are eventually striving to reach. I will do this with the love of music firmly embedded in my heart, which I would love nothing more than to share and impart in my students who love music as well, the gift of music.
