He gained performance experience in the NYC area by playing at such venues as Birdland, various colleges, clubs, churches, and recording dates and with acts such as Lehman College Stage Jazz Band, Victor Gaskin late Bassist with Billy Taylor, Latin Movement, and presently in South West Florida with Solucion Perfecta, and various Latin and Jazz Bands. Though Joseph can teach different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Latin Salsa, Jazz and everything related which had great influence on his style of playing. Joseph loves music because it speaks to one's emotions and feelings and loves teaching music because he loves to share the love of music to the next generation.
